Six things you can do to be happier straight away

In a world where our surrounding can cause stress, anxiety and maybe even depression it is essential that we find ways to makes us feel happy.

Contrary to what people believe it’s actually simple to find happiness..

 

Nature – Get out side

With this being the most available option for everyone there is no excuse not to take advantage, its been proved that the “green spaces” is good for one’s stress levels, health and happiness

So why is going outside good for you?

      – Nature helps in relaxation

      – Nature can restore your focus.

      – Good for the brain

     lastly nature makes us Happy

Spending time with your favourite person

Walk away from all the drama and people who create it, and surround yourself with people who make you happy. Schedule sometime to for a walk, drink or cup of tea at home would enhance your moods positively.

Listening to your favourite song..

Listening to music you like would have a substantial effect on your mood as your brain instantly lights up. There is no other stimulation like music to arouse the brain.

Exercise

Well this has to be my favourite thing that works for me and keeps me happy. Its been preached over and over how exercise enhances happiness and just as a reminder below are the reasons,

It releases happy chemicals into your brain.

It makes you less stressed out.

It energises you.

It boosts your confidence.

– It eases anxiety.

– It fights insomnia.

Embarking on a new experience 

Having a new experience is vital, it slows time down. Happiness can be described as a moment-to-moment experiences that comes as something exciting to anticipate or sweet to remember.

Helping someone 

When you help others  it’s not just the recipients of your kindness that benefits but you do too as;

It makes you feel good that you have made another person happy

Knowing you have helped and can help boost self-esteem

Friendship are built and strengthen from act of kindness

Feeling a sense of belonging

By giving you find your inner Peace

A sense of renewal is achieved

By helping others you spur them to want to re-pay your kindness thus creating cycle of happiness
